Summary: We travelled to Villa Eftychia as a group of 4 adults (2 couples), looking for a comfortable base to enjoy some hiking and sightseeing around this striking area of Crete. Our stay was great. The villa is lovely, had everything we needed and proved to be relaxing, comfortable and came complete with some friendly, outdoor cats! Beyond the recommendation on the villa, we also wanted to recommend the owners. Roxani, George (and Ira the dog) are brilliant. They were attentive, available (without being overbearing) and clearly understood the type of break we were hoping for; offering ideas and local knowledge about some fantastic walking spots and places to explore. They even provided some fresh eggs from the family chickens! All-in-all a memorable trip and were we to find ourselves back in the area, we’d not hesitate to knock on the door of Villa Eftychia
